IDG in the Community
As the Cayman Islands’ longest-standing interior design company, IDG has a mission and vision to help people live well.
When it comes to our community, it’s no different. We aim to give back to this beautiful place we call home and make a lasting impact wherever we can.
That’s why we support several programs, initiatives, and events each year (as well as hosting a few of our own) to give back and make a meaningful difference.
Helping Build Homes
Acts of Random Kindness
In partnership with ARK’s CASA Program, which aims to improve living conditions for Cayman families in need, we donate second-hand furniture, building materials and manual labor to help create safe and healthy living conditions for people in our community. We also fundraise for ARK’s Mentor – Educate – Reinforce (MER) Program for underprivileged students requiring academic assistance, with the aim of raising CI$27,500 in 2022 which will support at least five children through the school year.

Creativity for a Cause
A Night with the Artists
This event series is all about bringing the community together. It celebrates our local artists while also highlighting in-need groups in Cayman. At each event, a one-off artwork is created live for attendees. The finished piece is then auctioned off, with the proceeds going towards a chosen charity, which has included the Acts of Random Kindness Foundation and local artist programs.
Feeding Furry Friends
One Dog at a Time
Each year, we partner with One Dog at a Time (ODAT), a not-for-profit that rescues dogs and puppies from the pound where they’re at risk of euthanasia. The IDG team gathers supplies such as unopened dog food, treats and toys for the shelter and promotes adopting or fostering ODAT dogs to help them find a forever home.

Leading by Example
2,022 Miles for 2022
The IDG team aims to complete a combined 2,022 miles in 2022 to raise funds for Cayman’s ARK. As part of the challenge, on October 1, IDG hosted its first-ever 5km event, with the cost of registrations going directly to the fundraising effort. As we continue to move for the cause, we invite our IDG Tribe to join us in supporting ARK’s mission to create safe and healthy living conditions for people in need in Cayman.
Party for a Purpose
Jasmine's Burns Supper Gala
This year IDG is one of the proud sponsors of the Jasmin’s annual Burns Supper Gala, a fundraising event that celebrates the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Jasmine provides care for those facing a life-limiting illness or needing end-of-life care for free to anyone in the Cayman Islands, and the Burns Supper event is estimated to provide the organisation with over CI$50,000.00 to meet this need. IDG is thrilled to be part of this initiative and to play our part in helping people live well.
