Terms and Conditions

By visiting or shopping at IDG, you accept our terms and conditions. Please review these carefully.

In-Store Policies

Returns

Furniture

All in stock furniture at our retail store is eligible for return within 7 days with proof of purchase for a store credit only. A restocking fee will be applied to your refund equal to 10% of the purchase price. All returns must be submitted in like-new, reusable condition including original packaging. A quality control review will be completed in order to determine the above.  If required, returns made through IDG Delivery services are subject to an additional delivery fee. Delivery fees are calculated based on districts, subject to a minimum charge of $75.00 USD. Payment of this fee must be made prior to collection.

Shipping, Deliver & Processing Fees

All shipping, delivery and processing fees are non-refundable.

Rugs, Accessories, Fixtures & Hardware

All in stock rugs, accessories, fixtures and hardware are eligible for return within 7 days with proof of purchase from store credit only.

Bedding & Linens

All bedding and linen returns must be submitted in like-new resalable condition including original packaging and tags. A quality control review will be completed in order to determine the above. Approved items are eligible for return within 7 days with proof of purchase for a store credit only.

Custom & Special Order Items

All custom and special-order products require a 100% non-refundable deposit and are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Design clients are required to pay 70% with the terms previously mentioned, in regard to custom and special order products with the balance due prior to delivery of the items.

Other Items Not Eligible for Return

These items include: pillow inserts, duvet inserts, mattresses and protective mattress covers, and all installed special and/or custom ordered products. Annexed items are final sale and not eligible for return.

Layaway Items

All layaway purchases require payment in full to be held as sold. Layaway items will not be held for more than 7 days. If you require items to be held longer than 7 days, items storage rates will commence being charged at local market rates. The requirement of IDG delivery services will be subject to our delivery fees. IDG reserves the right to cancel orders held for more than 15 days. All cancelled order payments will be forfeited, and items will be put back in stock.

Special Orders & Custom Pieces

 All special order products require a 100% payment  for retail clients and 70% deposit for design clients at time of purchase and are non-refundable, non-returnable. The balance owing must be paid at the time the product is picked up by the customer, or in the case of delivery, before the product leaves the warehouse.  All special orders must be signed off by clients before they are placed. Special orders are not able to be cancelled once signed off by the client. We do our best to estimate lead time for special order and custom products to ensure orders arrive within estimated timelines. However, IDG cannot guarantee lead times or be held responsible for any order delays. Special order items will not be held for more than 7 days from the date you are notified the order is ready for pick up. If you require items to be held for longer than 7 days items will be subject to storage fees, with the exception for design clients, which are laid out in their design contract. IDG reserves to right to cancel orders held for more than 15 days. All cancelled order deposits will be forfeited, and items will be put back in stock.

Online Policies

Returns

All online purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable. Careful consideration should be made when purchasing your items online, ensuring that you are satisfied with your ordered products.

Order Confirmation

IDG will send you an order confirmation to the email address given by you to complete your online purchase at checkout. All confirmations are sent within 48 hours of your order being placed. If for any reason you do not receive your order confirmation email, please contact us immediately at info@idgcayman.com.

Please review your order confirmation to ensure that all items ordered are exactly as you wish them to be, confirming your order is accurate. You have 24 hours from the time you receive the order confirmation to make any corrections to your ordered items.

After 24 hours, IDG will attempt to make any changes or cancelations, IDG is not able to guarantee these requests will be successful. There may be a restocking fee applied on successful cancelations.

All changes to your order will be confirmed with a new order confirmation email showing your requested changes once IDG can confirm these changes can be implemented. You will be required to reply to this email, with your verification of the changes to your order.

Samples

IDG offers our clients the ability to order fabric swatches and finish samples from a wide selection of our vendors. Please contact us at info@idgcayman.com to request a swatch or sample to assist in your decision process.

Warranties

IDG works closely with our manufacturers and we aim to pass on to our clients any successful warranty claims and offers extended to our clients via our manufacturers on any issues. While we continuously asses our manufacturers for customer satisfaction, there are cases that the warranties provided by them do not extend to items imported into the Cayman Islands. Where possible IDG will work to achieve the best results for you, but please note we cannot guarantee a successful outcome. Credit Card Dispute

The terms of any purchase from or dispute with IDG shall be governed by Cayman Islands Law.

In the event of a credit card charge dispute, which is ultimately found to have been legitimate or which finds, in whole or in part, in favor of IDG, the customer shall be responsible for all attorneys’ fees and costs borne by IDG.

Data Accuracy

IDG makes all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the sites content. IDG makes no warranties or representation as to the site’s accuracy and reliability. IDG reserves the right to correct improperly displace products, from price to product details at any times. Should an item that is corrected have been purchased, we will promptly void the sale, issue a refund via the same payment method used for the purchase. We will notify the client to provide you opportunity to purchase the corrected items.
